Taking on the role of Chair of Britten Pears Arts (BPA) is a great honour as well as an exciting opportunity, and I wanted to thank you for your ongoing support, whether this is through membership or ticket purchases.

Having spent my career working in artist management, my passion has always been for nurturing artists. I am excited to bring this experience to BPA, to help build meaningful partnerships and to make classical music more inclusive and present in everyday life. As a family, we have been coming to Snape Maltings and The Aldeburgh Festival for many years and in 2017 we moved permanently to Aldeburgh – a place that has been very special to me since first coming to The Red House as a student in search of Britten’s scores.

The legacy of Britten and Pears is fundamental to BPA’s mission that the arts should be useful and enhance lives.  As you may know, BPA members contribute a vital 16% to our overall income and, with a changing face of arts philanthropy in this country, it is an increasingly vital part of our overall business model.

If you are not a member but might consider joining this pioneering organisation, please do take some time to have a look below at ways you can support our work, both on stage and within the community.

If you are already a member, might you consider increasing your level of support?
With your assistance we can continue building on our strong foundations whilst opening up new possibilities to secure the future of this wonderful organisation and the future of music.

Warmest wishes
