Voices of youth, voices of resistance. Young Musicians of today respond to Henze’s Voices (1973).

Aldeburgh Young Musicians engage head-on with Hans Werner Henze’s Voices, a work of great political commitment composed in the 1970s. In this performance, they present a collection of newly-composed protest songs in response.

Aldeburgh Young Musicians is a Centre for Advanced Training for promising young musicians in East Anglia which focuses on collaborative and creative musical training. Find out more about Aldeburgh Young Musicians.
