The third and last event of our showcase weekend casts a thought-provokingly fresh perspective on one of the 19th century's most enduring and beloved composers. Schubert, reimagined through improvised jazz, sits alongside Schubert in his purest, most recognisable form. Sit back and enjoy both, courtesy of the Chaos Quartet, joined by Fergus McCreadie and Santiago Cañón Valencia.

The BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme supports some of the world’s most exciting young instrumentalists, singers and ensembles at the start of their international careers through performance and recording opportunities.
