The wonderful Britten Sinfonia returns with a stunning programme that ranges from Mozart to Arvo Pärt.

Fresh from the BBC Proms at Bristol Beacon comes this compelling combination of orchestral colours. Sibelius’ The Lover masterfully sets three Finnish folk poems, while Arvo Pärt’s Tabula Rasa is an atmospheric and captivating concerto for two violins solo, prepared piano and orchestra.

Mozart’s delightful 39th Symphony adds elegance and a touch of mystery, while Gavin Higgins’ 2020 BBC Proms commission, Rough Voices, is a call to arms for our times.
