Orchestral fireworks to start Summer at Snape in style with the brilliant City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra playing Elgar and Tchaikovsky.

Conductor Thomas Søndergård and cellist Maximilian Hornung bring to life Elgar’s timeless Cello Concerto, one of the most famous and instantly recognisable pieces of music. It’s paired with Tchaikovsky’s grand Fifth symphony, with its recurring “fate” motif that finally ends in triumph and resolution.

A spectacular opening to our season that’s guaranteed to raise the roof.
