Open Rehearsal: Composition and Performance
A unique opportunity to observe the creative process in full flow – young composers and performers collaborate on new music, guided by some of the best in the business.
A chance to sit in on one of the Composition and Performance course composer reading sessions, where our instrumental ensemble workshops brand-new pieces written by a cohort of emerging composers. Everything you hear will have been written this week – created and edited by the composers in collaboration with the performers.
Young Artists will work under the guidance of composers Colin Matthews & Mark-Anthony Turnage, soprano Claire Booth, and conductor Jonathan Berman, plus our group of expert instrumental tutors.
