One of the most brilliant pianists of today, Pavel Kolesnikov, brings his poetic, sensitive approach to Chopin’s Nocturnes, revealing their emotional intimacy and unique sonorities.

A rare chance to hear all of these works in one evening, with Pavel Kolesnikov carefully curating them under the themes of Dreams, Memories and Visions. Considered some of the finest short pieces for piano, Chopin’s Nocturnes are emotional, intensely personal compositions and Kolesnikov’s “anti testosterone” approach, aiming for translucency and emotional vulnerability, rather than overt displays of technique, will reveal new depths to these much-loved works.
