Festival Opening Reception
Friday 12 June | 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Join us as we mark the start of the Aldeburgh Festival. Hosted by our Chair, Angela Mallinson at her beautiful home in Aldeburgh. Enjoy drinks and delicious canapĂ©s as you mingle with fellow members and supporters.Â

Open Rehearsal: BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Stephen Osbourne

Step inside an open rehearsal where the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra explore Ravel’s jazz infusions of the 1920s to Ryan Wigglesworth’s time-tripping Concerto.

The Red House Afternoon Tea

Join us for an afternoon in the gardens of The Red House, where you will enjoy afternoon tea. The afternoon then continues with talks and a guided tour of the beautiful gardens led by Chris, our Head of Archive and David, our Garden manager.Â

Post-Performance Talk with Phillipe Sands:Â East West Street

Philippe Sands explores the origins of East West Street. Marking 80 years since the Nuremberg Trials, he reflects on the stories behind the work and how the addition of music transformed a lecture into a deeply moving performance piece.

RAM Symphony Orchestra Open Rehearsal
Friday 26 June | 2:30pm - 4pm
Step inside an open rehearsal where Ryan Bancroft works with the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra on a programme of orchestral works, radiant songs, and the dreamlike sound world of Gubaidulina’s Fairytale Poem.
