Since 1955, the Wolfson Foundation has awarded over £1 billion (£2 billion in real terms) to projects across the UK, from Cornwall to the Shetland Islands.

Around 95% of our funding is in the UK. Most of their grants are for capital infrastructure — buildings (new build and refurbishments) and equipment. They also provide education and research grants for individuals.

They want to contribute to the health, resilience and variety of our society. They believe that supporting education — in its broadest sense and across the life course — is a key way to do that.

Wolfson Foundation are supporting our capital programme, ensuring the best possible facilities are available for the education and training of young musicians.
