Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra is the perfect showpiece for the vitality of the National Youth Orchestra of the USA.

Known for its high-octane joyous performances, with its musicians frequently going on to play in some of the world’s greatest ensembles, the orchestra is led tonight by conductor Karina Canellakis, known in the UK for her association with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and renowned for her rigorous yet emotionally charged performances.
