New for 2026, our Summer Academy is designed to nurture and support exceptional musicians and composers in the early stages of their careers, delivered by an exceptional faculty of internationally renowned musicians under the leadership of the conductor, composer and pianist Ryan Wigglesworth.

As part of Summer at Snape you are invited to observe masterclasses and coaching sessions, allowing you to see the young musicians at work with our faculty. In addition there are public performances, including an opportunity to hear all of Bartok’s mould-breaking string quartets, a collaborative performance between the young artists and faculty, and a final celebratory showcase concert.
